BALANGA City, Bataan: A job fair at SM City Bataan sponsored by the Department of Labor and Employment, the Balanga City Public Employment Service Office and other government agencies offered 2,012 job vacancies Thursday.
Rick Quiambao of the Philippine Information Agency – Bataan said the job fair was in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day with 21 local employers and six overseas participating.
DOLE Bataan provincial director Antonio Sicat, Jr. thanked partner agencies as well as participating companies and job seekers for supporting the event.
“The DOLE Bataan Field Office is proud to be part of this initiative, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our community. Let’s work together towards a brighter future for our kababayans in Bataan,” Sicat explained.
DOLE also awarded certificates of eligibility to 25 parents of child laborers in Bataan, allowing them to receive livelihood assistance worth P30,000 each under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program, Quiambao said. (30)
