CLARK FREEPORT – Reinforcing its commitment to accessible healthcare for workers, residents, and locators in the freeport, the Clark Development Corp. recently renewed its lease agreement with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center – Clark, Inc. (Mt. Carmel-Clark).
The lease renewal supports CDC’s ongoing efforts to ensure essential services are integrated into Clark’s development, helping create a balanced community that meets both business and healthcare needs.
CDC president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera emphasized the importance of healthcare facilities in shaping Clark into a thriving hub for both economic and social growth. “We are developing Clark not just as a hub for investors but as a community where people can experience work-life balance.”
Mt. Carmel currently operates as a 24-hour primary hospital, a branch of a tertiary hospital under Mt. Carmel Group of Companies, providing emergency services, laboratory facilities, pharmacy, ultrasound, X-ray, CT-SCAN, dialysis centers, heart station, endoscopy unit, laparoscopy unit, confinement rooms, consultation offices, a business office, and a convenience store.
Under the renewed agreement, Mt. Carmel-Clark will proceed with its primary hospital expansion with comprehensive basic services concentrating on preventive medicine, which also includes the aim to increase dialysis services through PhilHealth Z-benefit accreditations, a geriatric center and establishment of various commercial spaces.
Mt. Carmel-Clark President Dr. Monet Briones said the hospital remains committed to providing healthcare services to families, workers, and residents in the freeport.
“Each patient reminds us why this partnership matters, because everyone deserves access to competent, compassionate, and cheerful care,” Dr. Briones said. CDC-PR
