BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) conducted its absentee voting for the May 2025  National and Local Elections  at the Conference Room of Camp Cirilo Tolentino here Monday, April 28.

Bataan OIC police director Col. Marites Salvadora said 59 BPPO personnel were the first batch who cast their votes through the absentee voting process.

Voting began at 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon and will go on until  April 30.

The activity is pursuant to Republic Act No. 7166 and COMELEC Resolution No. 10920, which authorize government officials, including police personnel assigned to election duties, to cast their votes in advance through the Local Absentee Voting system.

Salvadora said the Philippine National Police in Bataan  remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that every personnel can exercise their right to vote.

This, she said, reinforces their dedication to both public service and democratic participation. (30)
