CLARK FREEPORT – Flag carrier Philippine Airlines is ramping up its Clark hub with daily flights to Siargao and Basco beginning May 1, providing travelers with greater flexibility in traveling between Central Luzon and the thriving tourist hubs of Siargao Island and Batanes province.
“Looking forward to the peak summer season, we are eager to invite more travelers to embark on unforgettable leisure and cultural adventures in Basco and Siargao by flying any day of the week on our direct flights from Clark International Airport,” enthused PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.
“These new daily services demonstrate Philippine Airlines’ commitment to boost Philippine tourism in ways that support our nation’s vibrant local neighborhoods and business communities,” he added.
In addition to ramping up flights to Siargao and Basco, the flag carrier likewise started daily services between Clark and Busuanga last March 1, and launched the first-ever nonstop Cebu-Catarman services, initially offering three weekly flights starting March 4.
