The victim was identified as Erlinda Grospe, principal of Balabalunago Elementary School, a report to Senior Supt. Ricardo Marquez, director of the provincial police office showed.
Investigation disclosed that the victim was in her house at about 5:30 p.m. when she heard a gunshot from the residence of her nephew, Lloyd Grospe Jaramilla,26.
Concerned, she rushed to Jaramilla’s house where she reportedly found him trying to kill himself. Grospe tried to pacify her nephew and get the hand gun but the latter accidently pulled the trigger.
Grospe was hit on her neck, police reported. She died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Jaramilla who continued shooting at himself was also rushed to Heart of Jesus Hospital in San Jose City and was pronounced dead Wednesday.
