BACOLOR, Pampanga – “Elections are a vital part of democracy. I encourage all candidates and their supporters to maintain respect and order. There is no need for conflict—unity and peace should prevail for the well-being of every Kapampangan.”

Thus, Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda said after affixing his signature to the peace covenant put up at the San Guillermo Parish Church here on March 4, as part of the interfaith rally for Safe, Safe, Accurate, Free/Fair Elections 2025 with the Commission on Elections-Pampanga and the Pampanga Provincial Police Office as lead convenors.

Along with the governor, Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and board member Fritzie David-Dizon also signed the covenant, demonstrating their commitment to a peaceful, orderly, and fair electoral process, while special assistant to the governor Angelina Blanco showed her support for the initiative.
