CLARK FREEPORT ZONE – The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) hosted hundreds of jobseekers at a job fair held recently at the Robinsons Place Angeles, in partnership with the Clark Human Resources Council (CHRC), and with the support of public employment and service offices of the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat.
A total of 820 jobseekers from as far as Metro Manila and Cavite vied for positions ranging from factory work and clerical, to supervisory and managerial positions, offered by 45 participating multinational companies and local enterprises.
“CIAC exercises the principle of inclusivity in its corporate mission, and this job fair ensures that socio-economic development through gainful employment will trickle down to metro-Clark communities who must not be left behind as the Clark Aviation Capital and the Clark International Airport continue to develop,” CIAC president Jojit Alcazar said.
Clark-based maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) companies like JAR Aviation Services, Inc. and SIA Engineering (Phils) Corp. offered aviation-related jobs such as aircraft mechanics, logistics personnel, and engineers.
Other participating companies from Clark included Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc., Foton Motor Phils., and several huge business processing outsource (BPO) firms such as Boomering Inc., Cloudstaff, Iqor Phils., and PBO Global.
According to these firms, a total of twelve applicants were hired on-the-spot, while several others were due for final interview to be scheduled at their respective workplaces.
Alcazar added the 2025 job fair is part of the corporate social responsibility program of CIAC and more jobs are expected to open in the future as the government-run aviation firm pushes for the development of its seven flagship projects, including the Clark National Food Hub, the World Convention and Events Hub, and the Clark Aviation Campus.
