CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – A total of 795 psychiatric and dialysis patients from the 3rd and 4th districts of Pampanga received financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in coordination with the provincial government on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
On behalf of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the distribution of aid and personally checked on the patients and their families. This initiative is part of the Provincial Government’s continuous efforts to address the medical needs of Kapampangans.
To further support the patients, Vice Governor Pineda assured that the Provincial Government, in coordination with the Department of Health (DOH), will help provide regular prescription medicines for the beneficiaries.
“Tuluy-tuluy pu ini. Mag-umpisa tana. Ali da ko pu pabren. Kung ali la pu minum panulu magkasakit la ampo ikayu. Kaya magmedical mission tamu pu para karela, atin tamu pung pamuli,” said Vice Governor Nanay.
Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 each from DSWD, while the Provincial Government also distributed food packs as additional support.
According to the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the Provincial Government of Pampanga currently provides regular assistance to 2,542 psychiatric patients and 3,494 dialysis patients under Governor Delta Pineda’s healthcare programs.
