BCDA, Fil-Korean consortium ink 50-year lease for NCC housing project

CLARK FREEPORT – The Bases Conversion and Development Authority has signed 7 a 50-year residential lease agreement with a consortium composed of Sta. Clara International Corp. (SCIC), Saekyung Realty Corp. (SRC), and the state-owned Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corp. (KIND). 

The partnership will facilitate the development of a 6.1-hectare real estate project in New Clark City, which will include residential units under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program. 

Consonant with BCDA’s vision of fostering resilient and sustainable communities, the development will feature 12 high-density residential buildings, including nine buildings comprising 2,600 units designated for the open market, and three buildings with 720 units allocated for the 4PH program.

Present during the ceremonial signing held at the Quest Plus Conference Center here on Feb. 7 were BCDA president and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Undersecretary Emmanuel D. Pineda, SCIC chairman and managing director Nicandro Linao, SCIC deputy managing director Miguel Carlos Linao, KIND director for urban development Chang Hoon Seo, SRC director Maria Theresa Ozoa, SRC representative Chan Ju Park, and BCDA officer-in-charge for conversion and development group Mark P.
