Lazatin opens two additional computer labs in Sapalibutad public high school

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on January 15, 2025 has formally inaugurated two more computer laboratories at the Governor Rafael Lazatin Integrated School in Barangay Sapalibutad.

This move is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational facilities and ensure that students have access to modern technology.

Mayor Lazatin together with Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, members of the City Council, department heads, and Department of Education — Angeles City officials led the ribbon cutting ceremony of the fifth and sixth computer labs opened this year.

Two computer labs each in Sapangbato National High School, and Malabanias Integrated School were opened yesterday by Mayor Lazatin, bringing in a total of six computer labs.

Mayor Lazatin is also set to inaugurate three more computer labs at the Rafael Lazatin Memorial High School in Barangay Balibago on January 16, 2025.

A total of 16 new state-of-the-art computer labs are now constructed and fully-operational under the leadership of Mayor Lazatin.

These facilities, each equipped with 40 computers, are part of the city’s ICT Modernization Program, which aims to meet the ideal student-to-computer ratio and improve digital learning experiences.

In addition to 40 computers in each lab, the city government also provided computer tables, chairs, printers, air conditioning units, smart televisions, and fiber optics internet connection.
