CLARK FREEPORT — “This facility represents CDC’s commitment to open communication and mutual trust with the media. The Clark Media Center is not just a building – it is a bridge that strengthens the relationship between the government, media practitioners, and the public. By working together, we ensure that accurate and timely information flows freely to empower communities and drive development.”
Thus, Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera hailed the partnership between the state-run firm and the media during the signing of a memorandum of agreement on the establishment of the Clark Media Center last Dec. 20.
Signing with Devanadera were Alberto “Boy” Santiago, outgoing president and incoming chairman of the Central Luzon Media Association-Pampanga Chapter; and Dionisio “Nonie” Pelayo, chairman of the Capampangan in Media Inc. Standing as witnesses were veteran journalist Federico “Dik” Pascual, former editor-in-chief of the Philippine Daily Inquirer and columnist of the Philippine Star, for CAMI; and Mark Allen Sison, incoming CLMA-Pampanga president, along with Diosdado “Deng” Pangilinan, president of the CLMA regional umbrella organization, for CLMA.
“The media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and promoting accountability. CDC’s partnership with CLMA and CAMI reflects our shared vision of fostering innovation, collaboration, and transparency. We believe that this media center will serve as a catalyst for constructive dialogue and stronger public-private partnerships,” noted CDC vice president for administration and finance Mike Dela Rosa.
To be inaugurated and turned over to the CAMI and CLMA-Pampanga, the Clark Media Center is envisioned as a state-of-the-art facility offering high-speed Wi-Fi, modern audio-visual equipment, and spacious workstations, supporting the media’s evolving needs.
The CLMA-Pampanga and CAMI expressed their gratitude to the CDC for the “distinct privilege” it extended to them with the Clark Media Center. Punto News Team/Contributed photos
