Bayambang, Pangasinan – Revolutionizing healthcare and wellness, Julius K. Quiambao Medical and Wellness Center (JKQMWC), The Medical City managed hospital, celebrated a successful inauguration on October 18, 2024. Located on Bayambang – San Carlos Road in Asin, Bayambang, the new facility aims to transform healthcare accessibility and quality in the region. The event was attended by prominent guests, including the First Lady, the Under Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH), the President and CEO of PhilHealth, and other distinguished dignitaries.
The inauguration ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting led by The First Lady, Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos, alongside Cezar T. Quiambao, Chairman, DOH Under Secretary Dr. Emmie Liza Perez-Chiong, and the PhilHealth President and CEO, Emmanuel Ledesma Jr., the Chairman Cezar T. Quiambao shared his gratitude and vision for the center, stating, “We are excited to bring this facility to Bayambang, providing comprehensive healthcare through The Medical City’s expertise and commitment to excellence. Our goal is to serve this community with compassion and innovation.”
The First Lady, DOH Under Secretary, and PhilHealth President joined other guests in touring the new facility, which includes advanced diagnostic equipment, specialty care services, and wellness programs. The medical center’s management by The Medical City ensures a high standard of care and access to a wide array of medical services, such as:
24/7 Emergency and Trauma Services: Fully equipped emergency services to handle critical and urgent cases.

The DOH Under Secretary emphasized the importance of quality healthcare in the region, saying, “Facilities like JKQMWC are vital for ensuring every Filipino has access to quality healthcare. With The Medical City’s management, this center is well-positioned to serve the community and the region.”
The PhilHealth President highlighted JKQMWC’s role in improving healthcare affordability and accessibility, stating, “Through collaboration with PhilHealth, JKQMWC will ensure healthcare services remain accessible and affordable for all, providing peace of mind to the families it serves.”
The First Lady congratulated the JKQMWC team, noting, “This center will undoubtedly play a significant role in fostering a healthier community. I am honored to be here today to celebrate this meaningful step forward for Bayambang and the people of Pangasinan.”
The event concluded with a ceremonial plaque unvailing of the facility and ribbon cutting, symbolizing its commitment to serving the community with excellence, compassion, and integrity. JKQMWC is now open to the public, offering high-quality, patient-centered care under the management of The Medical City.
