MARIVELES, Bataan: The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) hosted   its 11th Stakeholder’s Night and presented  56 awards that recognized exceptional achievements in various categories held at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) here Tuesday.

The event held annually brought together AFAB stakeholders from different sectors who are all united to celebrate their collective accomplishments and commitment to the continued success of FAB.

FAB has presently 37,312 workers  in 91 registered multi-national enterprises involved in industrial, service providers and various industries.

“We gather here not just to celebrate another year of excellence but to acknowledge our incredible partnership that fuels the success of the Freeport Area of Bataan,” AFAB administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman began  in his opening remarks.

He highlighted the milestones achieved over the past year when he assumed as head of AFAB. “I have witnessed remarkable progress  to which each and every one of you has been a part of.  Your contributions across various aspects of the Freeport’s operation have been instrumental in propelling the FAB forward.”

“But we are not stopping there, as we continue to develop and fortify the AFAB into a stronger, more capable organization to deliver the goals laid out in our charter. This year we also commemorate the 55th founding anniversary of this economic zone, as the first of its kind in the country, and among the pioneers in Southeast Asia,” he said.

Pangandaman hoped that the celebration will  be a tribute and an honor to FAB’s past and present leaders.   “Our loyalty awardees today, are a testament to this enduring journey and legacy. I am sure they have witnessed firsthand the FAB’s growth, its resilience through challenges, and its unwavering commitment to progress.”
