BALANGA City, Bataan: SM City Bataan participated in the Brigada Eskswela for a better learning environment and display of community spirit and collaboration at the Tuyo Integrated School here Wednesday, July 17.
Volunteer from the supermall and its agencies with cleaning materials and paintbrushes cleaned classrooms, repainted walls, repaired furniture and tidied up the school grounds to prepare the public school for the start of classes on July 29, 2024.
“Participating in the Brigada Eskwela is one of SM’s many ways in giving back to the community and contributing to the betterment of school facilities for a more conducive learning. We are proud to be part of this noble endeavor,” said Mark Joriel B. De Leon, mall manager of SM City Bataan.
SM City Bataan involves their employees in community service like the Brigada Eskwela that serves as a platform for its collaboration with educational institutions to develop a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility among the team members.
