GMEC, GNPD host friendly golf tournament

MARIVELES, Bataan: GNPower Mariveles Energy Center (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin (GNPD) that operate coal-fired power plants here hosted a friendly golf tournament for industry leaders at D’Heights Resort Golf and Country Club in Clark Global City.

Joining the match in the 18-hole course were executives and officials of GMEC/GNPD, AboitizPower Thermal Business Group and the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).

GMEC/GNPD said the event provided a platform for networking and camaraderie among the participants.

“This golf tournament demonstrates GMEC’s and GNPD’s commitment to building strong partnerships and promoting a collaborative environment within the thriving industrial landscape in Bataan,” the organizers said.

Among the key players from AFAB included administrator Hussein Pangandaman, administrator for operations Lawyer Michael Angelo Paderanga, Corporate Affairs head Lawyer Percival Peralta and consultant/adviser to the administrator Tom Pacasum.

From AboitizPower Thermal Business Group were COO Celso Caballero III and   COO for Operated Sites Aldo Ramos while from AboitizPower were VP for External Relations Ramon Marcos Pernia, VP for External Affairs Wilfredo Rodolfo III and External Relations Manager Alaine Louie Gonzales.

GMEC Materials Handling Manager Miron Cristian Feliciano was also among the  participants.

“The positive energy and collaboration we experienced today were truly valuable. We hope to continue fostering these relationships through similar events in the future, perhaps even quarterly,” Caballero  said.
