CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Easy and enhanced accessibility to social services opened to the Capampangans with the opening of the Department of Social Welfare and Development regional extension office at the Pampanga Capitol compound.

This was made possible by a usufruct agreement signed by virtue of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 8525 Series of 2024 granting the DSWD the right to use the two-storey building owned by the Provincial Government of Pampanga until Dec. 31, 2024.

DSWD Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda, and Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the inauguration of the extension offices on April 24.

Villar expressed gratitude to the governor and vice governor for providing the buildings as additional office spaces for the agency, facilitating closer interaction with the community.

The provincial government also handed over two brand-new vans to DSWD to assist the agency in enhancing its efficiency in providing social welfare services to the people of Pampanga. Pampanga PIO/Photos: Daniel Ombina
