MEXICO, Pampanga – Mutya ng Pilipinas (MNP) Pampanga announced on Friday, Feb. 16, its partnership with The Lakeshore, a prime lakeside residential community along NLEX, as the co-presenter of the prestigious pageant.
“MNP is proud of the partnership with The Lakeshore, the new home of MNP Pampanga. We have big plans this year carrying Mutya towards bigger and better horizon. We search for and develop a beauty queen in every hometown by giving them opportunity to find their place in this world, as our slogan this year says #ShineOnTownGirl,” MNP national director Cory Quirino, herself a beauty royalty, said during the press conference.
When asked of the impact of MNP to women, she said: “To empower women bears repeating. We are so giving by nature, we tend to give and forget ourselves. Women in general must find their voice and potential and find their place in this world, this is what Mutya is all about.”
MNP is committed to its mission of relevance, sustainability and inclusivity. It is not all about pageantry but a crusade to discover, develop and give that lady a break and make her dreams come true, she added.
