CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Five towns in Pampanga and another three in Bataan will experience up to nine and a half hours of power interruption today, Feb. 20, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) publicaffairs officer Ernest Lorenz Vidal said.
“Customers of Penelco in Orion, Morong, and Bagac will have outage from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to facilitate replacement of insulators along Orion tap-PNPP69kV line segment. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” Vidal said.
In Pampanga, customers of Pampanga Electric Cooperative I (Pelco I) in certain areas of Mexico, Arayat, Candaba, San Luis, and Sta. Ana will have outage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., he also announced.
“The power interruption would accommodate Pelco I’s request to facilitate annual preventive maintenance at Plaza
Luma, Arayat Substation. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” Vidal added.
