CABANATUAN CITY – At least six of Nueva Ecija’s 32 towns and cities were “cleared” of active Covid-19 cases as of Monday, Nov. 29, according to the Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force.
Among these local units which registered zero active cases were Talugtug in the province’s second district; Gabaldon and Gen. Natividad in the third district; and Jaen, Peñaranda, and Cabiao in the fourth district.
The total active cases in Nueva Ecija were placed at 127, a decline from 179 on Nov. 24, the NEIATF reports showed.
Per district, the first registered the highest active cases at 48 followed by the third with 36. The second with 23, and the fourth with 20.
Of the active cases, as of Nov. 29, 53 were admitted in hospitals, six in quarantine facilities, and 68 were under home quarantine, it was also reported.
The NEIATF reiterated its call to the public to keep on observing health protocols to contain the spread of the virus.
