Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda is on hand to receive 5,452 doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines from the Department of Health on Sunday at the Pampanga Covid vax cold storage facility, PEO compound, in Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando.
The vaccines – 5,020 doses of AstraZeneca and 432 doses of Sinovac – are intended for partial frontline health workers of Priority Groups A1.5 comprising government-owned primary care–based facilities such as city health units, rural health units, barangay health stations, birthing homes and local health officers, members of BHERTS, contact tracers, and social workers.
With the governor at the turn-over of the vaccines are DOH representative Jose Gener Pascual, provincial health office OIC Dr. Zenon Ponce, and Malu Lacson, Pampanga central command deputy for Covid-19 vaccine roll-out.
