YACAP was piloted in three schools namely Candelaria School of Fisheries, San Felipe Technical-Vocational School, and JESMAG Technical-Vocational School in Castillejos.

DepEd Zambales OIC-Schools Division Superintendent William Rhoderick Fallorin bared plans to expand YACAP by including entrepreneurship training for students.

“It is important to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students to enable them to engage in business ventures such as food and non-food product processing or the service industry,” he pressed.

This collaboration among national government agencies strengthens community development efforts in Zambales by equipping students with essential consumer and entrepreneurial skills. (CLJD/RGP, PIA Region 3-Zambales)
