BALANGA CITY — Fifty qualified micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) from this province received cash assistance of P10,000 each under the 1Bataan Recovery Program, the provincial government announced Friday.
Vice Gov. Cris Garcia led in the distribution to those who have completed their business continuity plan as a means of their readiness in case the province is again hit by another crisis like the coronavirus disease pandemic.
The vice governor said the cash assistance will serve as additional capital for the heavily-affected businessmen.
Albert Garcia said.
The provincial cooperative and enterprise development office, provincial tourism office and the Department of Trade and Industry coordinated the implementation of the program.
