5 ‘pushers’ nabbed

SAN NARCISO, Zambales — Five suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of the drug enforcement unit of the San Narciso municipal police in simultaneous drug buy-bust operations in barangaySiminublan and Beddeng here.

In his report to Zambales police director Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., San Narciso police chief Capt. Jonathan C. Bardaje said one Pepito Mendoza Ruano,36, jobless, and a resident of No. 44, San Nicolas Street, Barangay San Juan, Castillejos was arrested along the National Highway in Purok 6, Barangay Siminublan.

Recovered from the suspect were a small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu (buy bust item), three other heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, a Cherry Mobile cellphone, one black leather wallet containing assorted ID’s and one black/green Suzuki X4 motorcycle.

Bardaje said that also arrested in Barangay Siminublan were Antonio Manglicmot y Ragasa46, who is included in the unified watch list, resident of  Barangay East Dirita, and Gene Cyril Viray y Milanio, 30, of Barangay Burgos, both in San Antonio town.

The two were arrested in the act of selling a sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseurbuyer.

Recovered from them were one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu (buybust item), another six heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu (possession), the P500 marked money, one black pouch used as container, one small pair of scissors, one cellphone, one sling bag and one TMX 125 tricycle.

In Barangay Barangay Beddeng,  the arrested suspects were identified as Robert Servantes, 30, construction worker, and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay East Dirita; and Christian Kristopher Pascual y Canonizado, 32, motorcycle mechanic, and resident of Purok 4,Barangay East Dirita both in San Antonio.

Report said the suspects on board a motorcycle with plate number CO66891 sped through a checkpoint manned by San Nicolas policemen, prompting SSgt. Markgil Apostol and SSgt. Rexboy Jugatan to give chase resulting to the suspects apprehension.

Confiscated from the suspects were two transparent heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu.

All the suspects are detained at the San Narciso Police detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
