SUBIC, Zambales – Five suspects were arrested and P374,000 worth of shabu was seized in a raid on a drug den by the town police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zambales office in Barangay Matain here Saturday night.
A PDEA-Zambales identified those arrested as Larlyn Puno y Aquino, 35, the alleged drug den maintainer, of Purok 3, Barangay Matain; Nabel Mustapha y Grande, 18, and Asniyah Mustapha y Grande, 41, both of Phiseco, Asinan Proper; Sias Inoc y Laspobres, 30 , of Purok 1, Barangay Matain; and Camal Macabatao y Amboloto, 46, of Block 42, Lot 110, Kasiglahan, San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal.
Police said the suspects yielded six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 55 grams of shabu amounting to P374,000. assorted drug paraphernalia, and the P1,000 bill buy-bust money.
The raid was prompted by an intelligence report passed on to the local police that suspect Puno’s house was being used as a makeshift drug den for drug users.
All suspects were charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
