SUBIC, Zambales – Joint elements of the local police and the provincial drug and intelligence units and the 1st and 22nd provincial mobile force companies arrested five suspects in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Calapacuan here on Jan. 24.
Police identified the suspects as drug watch-listed Hajiraya Ibnohali y Saral, Dionisio Giron y Cambal, Stella Salahudin y Ibnohali, Jovert Polo, of Barangay Calapacuan; and Sarah Suarez y San Juan, of Barangay Kalalake, Olongapo City.
The suspects were arrested after a police poseur-buyer bought one plastic sachet containing illegal drugs from Ibnohali and Giron.
Confiscated from the suspects were various plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 18.2 grams valued at P123,760, the P500 buy-bust money, and another P500 and P100 bills, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
