48 schools benefit from CDC’s Brigada Eskwela ‘19

CLARK FREEPORT — Some 48 schools from various communities near this Freeport recently benefitted in the Brigada Eskwela 2019, a joint project of Clark Development Corporation (CDC) with its various locators here.

During the activity, CDC President and CEO Noel F. Manankil said that the project will allow the state-owned firm to create more pertinent Corporate Social Responsibility programs with the support and effort of its locators in Clark.

“This is the start of a joint project of CDC with Clark locators for a more relevant CSR,” Manankil mentioned.

 Manankil also said that while CDC has been active in bringing in further CSR related programs, they are now leaning towards a more strategic and developmental approach in terms of crafting their projects.

“We are willing to explore and encourage more strategic and developmental CSR projects,” he said.

Different materials that will help in the maintenance and beautification of school facilities and premises were distributed to selected schools from Bamban and Capas, Tarlac ; Porac, Lubao and San Fernando, Pampaga; Mabalacat City and Angeles City.

The said materials include paints, cement, ventilation materials, health and hygiene materials, first aid kits as well as school supplies among others. Cash assistance were also donated by Clark locators to selected schools.

Meanwhile, Department of Education (DepEd) Region 3 Division Superintendent Leilani Cunanan thanked CDC for its continuous support on their educational projects and programs for the students.

“Sa pangalan po ng DepEd Angeles City, malugod po naming ipinapaabot ang aming pasasalamat sa mga iba’t-ibang tulong na ibinibigay nyo po sa ating mga paaralan,” Cunanan said.

Some of the locators who extended support in the activity are  SMK Electronics Philippines Inc., Filinvest Cyberzone Mimosa, Pishon Clark Philippines, CET Cosmo Construction Inc., Joii Philippines Inc., AIW International Development Corporation, Nuesmart Inc., APAC Medical Equipment, Clark Premiere Industrial Park, Inc., La Rose Noire Foundation Inc., Alliance Mansols Inc., Task Us, HBF International Corporation, Coex Incorporated, AGX Express Philippines, ITM Force Manpower Corporation, Intertech Marketing Sales and Services Inc., Oak Leather Clark Inc., Prudence Development and Management Corp., People Support Labor  Services Cooperative., Fontana Golf Club Inc., Starboard Manpower Services Inc., and Evertrust Business Solutions. Members of the Aviation Security Unit of Philippine National Police Region 3 (AVSEU 3) led by Col. Diosdado Fabian and AVSEU 3 Advisory Council also participated in the event.
