Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. extended his heartfelt gratitude to 4,738 barangay officials throughout the 33 barangays in Angeles City by distributing hams and 5-kilo sacks of rice as part of his personal yearly holiday tradition.
This initiative highlights Mayor Lazatin’s way of showing gratitude for the dedication and hard work of barangay officials in ensuring the continued progress of Angeles City.
“Their efforts are invaluable, and this is a small token of appreciation to let them know how much their service is valued,” Lazatin said.
On behalf of Mayor Lazatin, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller, Gender and Development (GAD) Office Head Mina Cabiles, Association of Barangay Captains President Kap. Dan Nacu, and former Angeles City Public Cemetery Head Philip Samson distributed the personal Christmas packages from Mayor Lazatin.
Barangays visited included Sapangbato with 71 beneficiaries, Margot with 148, Anunas with 151, Cuayan with 121, and Pampang with 236.
Other barangays such as Sta. Trinidad (94), Cutcut (215), San Nicolas (134), Lourdes Northwest (103), Agapito Del Rosario (78), Virgen Delos Remedios (73), and Claro M. Recto (61) also received their holiday treats.
Additionally, barangay officials from Lourdes Sur East (81), Lourdes Sur (43), Sto. Rosario (78), San Jose (100), Pulung Bulu (98), Sto. Domingo (132), Sto. Cristo (73), Salapungan (92), Ninoy Aquino (109), and Pandan (138) were likewise recipients.
The distribution further reached Mining (78), Capaya (159), Tabun (110), Pulung Maragul (167), Sapalibutad (122), Pulung Cacutud (188), Cutud (120), Balibago (574), Malabanias (472), Sta. Teresita (109), and Amsic (210).
To recall, it has been a yearly tradition of Lazatin to distribute ham and rice during Holiday season. #
