CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — A total of 46 youth entrepreneurs in Central Luzon graduated from the Kapatid Mentor Micro Entrepreneurs – Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The mentees consist of 30 females and 16 males will all seven provinces of the region represented.

During the virtual culminating program, DTI Regional Director Leonila Baluyut said micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs are continuously kept abreast of innovative information, skills, and knowledge needed to survive, bounce back and pivot from the financial impact brought by the pandemic.

“With this, I challenge the mentees to use their learnings in improving their businesses… My minimum expectation from you is that you will use this network to improve your business. Thank you for making it this far,” she added.

Bannered as “KMME Program in the New Normal”, the project is now on its third year with the recent graduates as the second batch for 2022.

They completed a total of 10 online modules plus coaching sessions.

Mentees presented their respective business improvement plans before a panel composed of representatives from the government, banking and financial sector, online market platforms, and mentors from the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship.
