4 towns get new police chiefs

    CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The provincial police here have announced new appointments for police chiefs of the towns of Mexico, Arayat, Macabebe, and Sta. Ana.

    Deputy provincial director for operations Supt. Diosdado Fabian, who presided over the turn-over ceremonies installing the new police chiefs, said Supt. Josemarie Basa has already assumed post as police director of Mexico town.

    Fabian said Basa replaced Supt. Ricardo Pangan, Jr. who has assumed post as the new police director of Arayat.

    Fabian also announced that former Arayat police director Supt. Wilson Alicuman has been appointed as chief of the Pampanga provincial operations branch after completing a two-year stint in Arayat.

    In Sta. Ana, Inspector Diosdado Nolasco has been designated officer-in-charge while in Macabebe, Inspector Gil Domingo has also assumed post as officer- in-charge.

    “The new appointments are pursuant to National Police Commission (Napolcom) Memorandum Circular (MC) 2007 – 008 and Philippine National Police MC 2011 – 008 that prescribes a two-year tenure for chiefs of police and the promotion and placement system for third level police commissioned officers,” Fabian noted.
