IBA, Zambales — Four suspects were arrested in separate anti-drug operations by joint operatives of the Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio police stations and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company Sunday.
Zambales police director Col. Romano Velayo Cardiño said the operations were conducted in Purok 3C Barangay Calapacuan, Subic; Purok 8 Sitio Baring, Barangay San Nicolas, Castillejos; and Evangelista Street, Purok 6 Barangay San Nicolas, San Antonio, all in Zambales.
The arrested suspects in Subic were identified as Gregorio Arcoles y Bongcay, 39, of Barangay Calapacuan and Mark Francis Pillo y Gotomay of Barangay Calapandayan.
In San Antonio, arrested was Rose Evangelista y Siringan, 48, of Barangay San Nicolas, while Kayzell Estabaya, 25, was arrested in Castillejos.
Each of the suspects was nabbed in the act of selling transparent plastic sachet of shabu worth P500 to police poseur-buyer.
Police recovered from the suspects 16 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu with estimated weight of five grams worth some P32, 500; three P500 bills that served as the sting money; one coin purse with label Cebuana Lhuillier; one unlabeled coin purse; one pouch; and one plastic box.
Further investigation revealed that Arcoles, Pilo, and Evangelista are in the drug watch list of the Zambales police. All suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
“The Zambales PNP is dedicated in its operations to eliminate all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve a drug free community,” said Cardiño as he commended the police operatives.
