4 firms found sans business permit

    OLONGAPO CITY –Four business establishment engaged in selling used automotive spare parts in Barangay New Cabalan were given five days to secure business permits from the city business licensing office.

    This, after their non-compliance with laws was discovered during an inspection by joint operatives led by Chief Inspector Arnel Pagulayan, head of the Zambales Provincial Highway Patrol Team (PHPT), and Senior Inspector Norman San Esteban, chief of Police Station 4 of the Olongapo City Police Office conducted pursuant to PD 1612, known as the Anti Fencing Law.

    License inspector Karen Marie Vallo found the four establishments in violation of City Ordinance No. 64, Series of 2007 for non-posting of mayors permit in the premises, and employees without mayor’s permit for the exercise of professional occupation.

    The non-complying firms were identified as Warbethsun Enterprise owned by Felipe Warren L. Sanchez, Jovito Moreno Auto Parts and Trading Services owned by Jovito Moreno, Red Jul General Enterprise owned by Ludy/Evangeline Redondo, and Lienr’s Angerec Trading Junkshop owned by Rochelle Perez.

    Also found without mayor’s permit and employee’s working permit were E. Laluces General Merchandise and Buy anad Sell owned by Emmanuel and Isagani Laluces, Ashley Joy General Merchandisze owned by Romeo Bacud, Jr, Lucky King’s General Merchandise owned by Maria Aurora Flores, and Don General Merchandise owned by Don’t Villa De Vera.

    The store owners were directed to temporarily cease operation pending their application of city business permit and further advice to secure working permit of their employees.

    They were further advised by the inspecting team to submit affidavit of inventory together with corresponding receipts/ certificate coming from legitimate sources. Owners were reminded to strictly adhere to the provisions of the Anti-Fencing Law.
