CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Elements of the Regional Highway Patrol Unit 3 (RPHU-3) arrested carnapping suspects and recovered one motor vehicle and one tricycle in two days of intensified anti-carnapping operations in Central Luzon.
RPHU-3 chief Col. Bernard B. Marzal said personnel of Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Bulacan led by Major Michael M. Villar arrested last Wednesday Joseph Marquera y Valdez by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Efren Basco Tienzo of RTC, Branch 13, Malolos City, Bulacan on Nov. 25, 2021 for carnapping.
In Olongapo City, joint personnel of Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Zambales led by Captain Robin Jay DG Fajardo and of the city’s Police Station 1 arrested Arvie Flores and Marlon Cruz y Reyes after they stole one tricycle in Barangay East Bajac-Bajac. City.
Police also confiscated from Flores one hand grenade.
On Thursday, a team from PHPT- Zambales led by Lt. Christopher John R. Pulgan arrested Jayson Solano y Oreta by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Raymond C. Viray of RTC Branch 75, Olongapo City for carnapping. Solano is listed No. 20 Most Wanted Person of the Zambales Police Provincial Office.
In Tarlac City, PHPT-Tarlac led by Major Joel U. Maranion recovered one Isuzu Elf insulated van with Plate No. RGW 492 reported to have been missing since 2014 and included in the hold-order list of motor vehicles.
HPG director Brig. Gen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil commended his men for their outstanding accomplishment.
