TARLAC CITY — A total of 35 barangays in Paniqui received their respective Hi- service vehicles from the municipal government in an effort to provide relevant and swift services to the people.
“This is a fulfillment of promises that I will be procuring new service vehicles for each barangay so that they can deliver immediate services to the people especially during times of emergency,” Mayor Max Roxas said.
The municipal government spent about Php40 million for the vehicles under its general fund. Each vehicle can accommodate 16 persons.
Apart from this, service vehicles were likewise provided to the Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development, and Municipal Police Station. (CLJD/CJVF-PIA 3)
