CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – On her first full working day as city mayor, Vilma B.
Caluag set to put up 30 dialysis machines within her first 100 days in office. This,
pursuant to her priority program of free dialysis and chemotherapy sessions for
Fernandinos in need.
“We are having a series of meetings, looking at prospects for the best price
commensurate to quality service and efficiency of the dialysis machines that our
constituents need,” said Caluag in Kapampangan, underlining her initial budget of
P15 million for the program.
The city’s first lady mayor plans to set up the dialysis machines at the city civic
center in Barangay Del Rosario.
“We are targeting to get 30 dialysis machines to serve 90 Fernandino patients
daily,” she said, vowing more major programs under her Universal Health Care
Plan.
Citing urgency, Caluag asked everyone involved to speed up the process to get the
program up and running even before her the end of first 100 days in office.
“If we can do it in 60 days, which I think is very feasible, so we can deliver faster
delivery to those in need and help them with the cost of the sessions,” she said.
The mayor assured Fernandinos of free availment of dialysis sessions. With CSFP-
