DINALUPIHAN, Bataan — The local government unit here on Tuesday appealed to residents to undergo vaccination against the coronavirus disease in its three inoculation sites that are in full operation.
“Like what President Duterte, Gov. Albert Garcia, Cong. Geraldine Roman, Cong. Jose Enrique Garcia III and Mayor Maria Angela Garcia often say, do not hesitate to be inoculated. We have to be vaccinated to be safe especially from new variants of Covid–19,” municipal administrator Rolando Rojas said.
Roman and Jose Garcia III are representatives in congress of the province first and second districts, respectively.
“Isipin natin na ang mga ospital ay talagang punong-puno na at ang iba ay naghihintay na lang sa ambulansiya dahil hindi ma-accommodate sa ospital kaya huwag mag-atubili na magpabakuna,” he added.
He urged the residents to follow their assigned schedule of vaccination, to coordinate with their barangays and to observe safety protocols for the good of everyone.
Rojas said three of the 24 vaccination centers in 11 towns and one city in the province are in Dinalupihan where vaccinees will feel comfortable.
The inoculation sites in Dinalupihan are in the civic center that can accommodate 800 vaccinees a day, Colo covered court, and Bulwagan ng Bayan.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang pagbabakuna kapag may dumating na vaccine. Kailangan agad matapos dahil gusto ni Governor Garcia at Mayor Garcia na magkaroon ng herd immunity sa lalong madaling panahon,” Rojas said.
