In a report, Cabanatuan City police director Supt. Ponciano Zafra identified the suspects as Jerico de Guzman, 40, married and jobless resident of Ramirez St. in Barangay Aduas and Harold Harvey Druz, 38, of Barangay Kapitan Pepe, both in Cabanatuan; and Jeric Dominguez, 25, single and jobless resident of Barangay Paliko 4 in Imus, Cavite.
The report said the three were arrested in separate buybust operations. It said De Guzman was found in possession of four sachets or 152 grams of suspected shabu and a digital weighing scale.
Cruz was nabbed with four sachets or about 3.59 grams of suspected shabu, while Dominguez was found with five grams weighing 13.29 grams.
The report quoted the Philippine Drug Enforcement Administration as saying that, based on the street value of P12,000 per gram of shabu, the total haul from the three suspects was about P2.028 million.
The police said that when arrested, Dominguez had already reportedly delivered to his clients most of his shabu obtained from suppliers in Cavite.
“These people and their clients seem already too hooked up. They no longer have any fear of being arrested or even being killed in possible clashes with law enforcers,” Zafra said.
