CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines awarded three educational institutions from Pampanga during the CEAP National Convention on Oct. 3 at the SMX Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Leading the jubilarians are the St. Scholastica’s Academy of Pampanga, Inc. (100 years) from the City of San Fernando, Holy Rosary Academy Inc. (75 years) from Lubao, and St. Nicholas Academy: CCEI (50 years) from Macabebe.
The three schools were recognized for the many years they have faithfully championed their unique roles in the country’s educational landscape – nurturing the learners’ minds and spirits, integrating Gospel values, fostering academic excellence, cultivating leadership and service, and building a vibrant community rooted in faith.
The school administrators received a special citation and an image of Christ the Teacher from the CEAP officials headed by Fr. Karel S. San Juan, current president and Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, executive director.
“It is a remarkable honor to be recognized by the CEAP especially now that Catholic schools all over the country continue to face countless challenges as they try to take an active and consistent role in the evangelizing mission of the Catholic Church,” shared Rey G. Yumang, the school director of St. Nicholas Academy.
Anchored on the theme “Living Synodality as Pilgrims of Hope,” the four-day national convention was capped by a Eucharistic celebration, with Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines as the main presiding prelate and preacher.
