OLONGAPO CITY — Three suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of Police Station 4 of the city police in a buy–bust operation at Purok 1, Mactan, Barangay Old Cabalan here.
In his report to city police director Col. Benjamin Sembrano, Jr., PS4 commander Capt. Walter Primero identified the suspects as Jimmy Abalos y Morales, Jr., 28, scavenger, of Purok 4, Barangay Old Cabalan; Romano Corbe y Abaya, 44, jeweler and Alfredo Morada y Tala, 52, carpenter, both of Purok 5, Barangay Bangal, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The suspects were nabbed in the act of selling a sachet of shabu worth P200 to a police poseur–buyer.
Confiscated from them were 22 transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 4.220 grams with street value of P13,000 and the sting money.
The suspects were all detained at PS4 detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165 and City Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2020 (Face Mask and Social Distancing Ordinance of Olongapo City).
