ANGELES CITY — Three high value targets in the city’s anti-drug campaign were arrested, yielding some 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000 in a buy-bust in Barangay Balibago here Monday.
In a report released to media Wednesday, Angeles City police chief Col. Diosdado Fabian identified those arrested as Walter Venturina alias Walter Gamboa, 23, and Beverly Custodio, 22, both of Gozar St., Hensonville Subd., Malabanias, Angeles City; and Faisal Obligado alias Ford, 30, of No. 203 MacArthur Highway, Dau, Mabalacat City.
Angeles City police drug enforcement unit OIC Lt. Jennies Capili said they coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in conducting the sting operation along Ramon Jose St., Balibago.
Aside from the four plastic sachets, seized from the suspects were the P500 marked bill, and a black motorcycle.
The city police stations are stepping up efforts to rid the city of illegal drugs pursuant to orders of Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, said Fabian.
