BALANGA CITY — Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested and illegal drugs seized during separate buy-bust operations in Limay and Orion towns in Bataan Tuesday.
Col. Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, said confiscated from the two raids were shabu worth some P346,800.
One individual was arrested in Barangay Lamao in Limay near midnight of Tuesday. Major Dennis Duran, Limay police chief, identified the suspect as a 35-year-old fisherman from Lamao.
Limay police station drug enforcement unit operatives conducted the operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the confiscation of five small plastic sachets of shabu worth more or less P6,800.
Also recovered from the suspect was the P1,000-marked money.
In Orion, two suspected drug peddlers were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Wawa.
The Orion police station drug enforcement unit conducted the operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with standard drug price of P340,000.
Police are readying charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against the suspects.
