SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Three suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of San Antonio Municipal Police Station in simultaneous drug operations in three barangays here.
Senior Inspector Johnathan Bardaje, head of San Antonio PNP, identified the arrested suspects as Jayrix Borja y Apog, 45, of Purok 7, Barangay Pundakit; Roderick Talplacido y Busante, 34, of Purok 3, Barangay Burgos; and Julius Fernandez y Valenciano, 29, of Purok 2, Barangay West Dirita, all in San Antonio.
Police recovered from the suspects a total of eight heatsealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu and the marked money amounting to P1,500, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The suspects now face charges for violation of Section 5, 11 and 12, Article II of RA 9165 before the Provincial Prosecutors Office in Iba, Zambales.
