OLONGAPO CITY — Police raided a “peryahan” in Barangay Poblacion, Palauig, Zambales following the arrest of three persons playing “drop ball game”.
The raid was led by CIDG Zambales provincial officer Chief Inspector Edgar Q. Balagso.
Arrested were Rolando Pimentel y Ignacio, 49, of Sta. Rosa Laguna; Danilo Custodio y Pimentel, 29, and Dilinger Daga y Abise, 24, both of Barangay Poblacion, Paluig, Zambales.
The raiding team confiscated assorted gambling paraphernalia and bet money in different denominations.
The suspects are all detained at CIDG Zambales facing charges for violation of PD 1602. (Anti-Illegal Gambling) before the Provincial Prosecutor Office.
