OVER THE years, Punto has been instrumental in conveying to its thousands of readers Marian and other prophecies. The time is ripe: If we are to collate video news footages of the strangest happenings in every corner of the world, the only conclusion is that the biblical signs of the times now overfloweth.
Most sensational are prophecies that tell of a conditional chastisement never before experienced by mankind. If these could cause panic, it must be that panic is Heaven’s option to something worse.
As Punto marks its anniversary — and this without intent to spoil the fun — we recall three important prophecies around or about the prophesied chastisements from the visionaries of Garabandal, of Akita, Japan and of Krakow, Poland.
I. Garabandal
First would come a world-wide warning, an “illumination of conscience,” that would allow everyone over the age of reason to see themselves as God sees them. This would apply to all people everywhere. It would be as if the earth stood still for a few moments – even planes in the sky.
It will be very short-lived as it will no doubt be a very intense experience for everyone. No one will necessarily die from it as far as she knows, but everyone will experience it.
This is an opportunity given to people to amend their ways and is a purification to prepare the world for the miracle that will follow.
Then will come the Miracle which will be a permanent sign left in “the Pines” in Garabandal. It will be permanent and be proof that God does exist. After this, if people still do not repent, will come the Chastisement.
II. Krakow, Poland
In this place, Jesus Christ Himself told St. Faustina Kowalska (of the Jesus Divine Mercy fame):
“Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My Mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable Mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it , will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My Mercy; let them profit from the Blood and water which gushed forth for them… before I come as the just one, I first open wide the gates of My Mercy. He who does not pass through the gates of My Mercy must pass through the gates of justice.
“Before I come as the just judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:
“All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be a great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Saviour were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.”
On a later occasion Our Lady appeared to St Faustina and said the following words: “I gave the Saviour to the world. As for you, you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful saviour, but as a just Judge. O how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still time for mercy. If you keep silent now, you will be answering for a great number of souls on that terrible day.”
III. Akita, Japan
In 1973, the Blessed Mother told Sr. Agnes Sasagawa: “My dear daughter, listen well to what I have to say to you. You will inform your superior.”
“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead.
“The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops.”
