SUBIC, Zambales – Three suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of Subic Drug Enforcement Unit in a buy-bust operation at Sitio Baltao, Barangay Calapandayan of this town.
Police Major Gilbert Diaz, head of Subic PNP, in his report to Zambales Police Provincial Office director Police Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr., identifi ed the suspects as Richard Custodio y Lat, 37, and Ulysses John Olvida y Reyes, 41, both residents of Sitio Baltao; and Mario Martorillas y Escober, 32, of No. 67 Lower Kalaklan, Olongapo City.
The suspects were arrested selling transparent plastic sachet of shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer.
Recovered from them were another four transparent plastic sachets of shabu, the marked money, and one motorcycle used by suspects in their illegal activities.
The suspects face charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165 before the Provincial Prosecutor Office in Olongapo City.
