BALANGA CITY — Three doctors were added to the new list of patients found positive of the coronavirus disease in Bataan, rising the number to 39 as of Monday afternoon.
Gov. Albert Garcia said the new cases are a 31-year–old male and two females at 31 and 36 years old. The three physicians are all from Balanga City.
From 27 on Saturday, the number of patients foundpositive of the virus in the province jumped to 36 on Sunday and 39 Monday.
Of the total cases, three died while 11 have recovered and presently completing the 14-day post-discharge quarantine before their final release.
As of 4 p.m. Monday, the number of persons under monitoring reached 2,464, persons under investigation with mild cases at 812, and PUI with moderate to severe status at 224.
Of 11 towns and one city in Bataan, Dinalupihan, Pilar, Bagac and Morong remained with no confirmed case of Covid–19.
Balanga City has the highest record with 16 confirmed cases with two deaths and two recoveries.
