MANILA, PHILIPPINES, February 16, 2024 — Boutique airline Sunlight Air will officially be moving its operations to its new home, Clark International Airport (CRK), this April 1, 2024. The move comes with added nonstop routes to Boracay, daily flights to and from Cebu, and limited-edition Sunlight Air merchandise to celebrate the airline’s newest milestone.
After careful consideration, Sunlight Air will primarily operate from CRK, with its existing booth at Terminal 4 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport to cater exclusively to flights between Manila to Cebu.
This marks a significant development for the airline, and there are certainly great things to anticipate from Sunlight Air following this move. “Our passengers are our top priority and are at the center of our operations, this move was made with the consideration and evaluation of the feedback we receive; and the topline service we work to provide,” shares Ryna Brito-Garcia, CEO of Sunlight Air.
“With this shift, Sunlight Air strives to provide even more passengers with our quality services, as well as a better airline experience overall in terms of heightened efficiency and reliability. We are confident in the added comfort that will come with serving our customers from CRK which was recently recognized and awarded for its top-notch facilities and world-class design,” adds Brito-Garcia.
Passengers with existing flights booked from NAIA will be receiving an advisory on changes to their bookings following this transition, and shared shuttle services will be provided by Sunlight Air from NAIA to CRK. The majority of flights booked for departure or arrival until March 31, 2024 are expected to proceed at NAIA unless advised otherwise.
Clark International Airport has also recently been opening new local and international routes and is expecting to double passenger volume in the next year. With this, Sunlight Air hopes to further increase its flight frequency, open up more routes, and provide more Filipinos with its signature boutique airline experience.
Sunlight Air currently services flights between Manila and Coron, Siargao, Naga, and San Vicente, and will be opening routes to Boracay and regular flights to and from Cebu this April 2024. To find out more about Sunlight Air and how to #ExperienceSunlight today, visit https://sunlightair.ph/.
