MORONG, Bataan: The provincial office of the Department of Trade and Industry and the Morong Negosyo Center opened a One Town One Product (OTOP) Kiosk at the Bataan White Corals Beach Resort here.
DTI provincial information officer Teresita Esteibar – Magtanong said it is the second OTOP Kiosk established in a beach resort in Morong. The first kiosk was launched at the Morong Star Hotel and Resort last year.
“The Kiosk is a venue for tourists to seek and buy authentic local products as ‘pasalubong’ for their relatives and friends. It also provides local Micro, Small and Medium Enterpises (MSMEs) with a platform to reach a wider audience and gain exposure,” she said.
Magtanong said the kiosks help the MSMEs access new markets and customers.
Leading in the ribbon cutting were DTI OIC – provincial director Eileen Ocampo, division chief Connie Sanico and the Business Development Division, with Bataan Coral Beach Resort general manager Joroni Simbulan and sales manager Jay Duran.
Marlon Pabustan, president of Bataan Home Style & Wearables Association, Inc. also joined the affair.
