TARLAC CITY (PIA) — A total of 252 individuals benefited from the Health and Wellness Fair of the Philippine Army held at Camp Servillano Aquino in Tarlac.
Services offered to military personnel and their dependents, CAFGU active auxiliaries, reservists, and civilians from nearby communities include medical check-ups and consultations, dental services, free medicines, free haircut, veterinary services, and drug testing.
7th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (7CMOBn) Acting Commanding Officer LtCol. Russel Anthony Bumanglag said the initiative is part of the Civil-Military Operations Regiments’ (CMORs) efforts to enhance the well-being of both soldiers and the communities they serve.

“Ito po ay para sa health and wellness ng ating mga kasundaluhan, mga dependents, at maging sa community (This is for the health and wellness of our soldiers, their dependents, and even the community),” he stressed.
The Philippine National Police also supported the event by facilitating the processing of License to Own and Possess Firearms applications and conducting firearms verification.
Various government and private partners such as the Public Employment Services Office, City Savings, and the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative also participated by providing their services.
Aside from the 7CMOBn, other CMORs nationwide also delivered essential services simultaneously to soldiers and local communities. (CLJD/AJRR, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
