CASTILLEJOS, Zambales – Some 250 shooters, both lawmen and civilian enthusiasts, join the three-day 2nd General Orlando Maddela, Jr. Cup.
The competition is a Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA) sanctioned, Level II, Area IV Circuit match held at the Firing Range of Zambales Olongapo Pistol Riffle Association (ZOPRA) in Barangay Del Pilar, this town.
SBMA Law Enforcement, Department Manager, Police General Orlando Maddela Jr., (Retired) led the opening of the event.
Winners under Division award (Standard) include Jethro Dionisio, champion; Carlos Almazan, 1st runner-up; Jojo Bauto, 2nd runner up.
Top winners for the Open category include Agustin Morales, champion; Ronnie Santos, 1st runner-up and Adrian Francisco, 2nd runner-up.
Winners for the Modified category include Temie Lambino, champion; U Dela Cruz, 1st runner-up; Roy Darius Rondilla, 2nd runner-up.
Under the Production category, winners include Diyo Tayag, champion; Roderick Cruz, 1st runner-up; Jun Laoang, 2nd runner-up.
Bonin Micu topped the Revolver-Standard category.
Winners for the Standard Single Stack include Rodel Binuya, champion and 1st runner-up Medz Suitos.
For Area IV Series Match, Agustin Morales topped the category. For Standard, Carlos Almazan won the championship while under the Production category, Diyo Tayag bagged the championship.
Under the Lawman Single Stack category, Medz Suitos won the top prize; 1st runner-up is Ric Eligidom while Roger Grueso is 2nd runner-up.
