IBA, Zambales – Elements of the provincial police office arrested two rape suspects in simultaneous operations against wanted persons Friday.
Reports submitted to Zambales police director Col. Fitz A. Macariola said suspect Jimmy De Guia Angeles alyas “Nognog or Nogy” of Barangay Kalaklan, Olongapo, City was arrested by operatives of the San Antonio Municipal Police Station led by Lt. Daren Ganotan together with the provincial intelligence unit, Olongapo City police intelligence unit, and the regional intelligence division, Police Regional Office 3.
Angeles was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gemma Theresa B. Hilario-Logronio of the Family Court. Third Judicial Region, Branch 12, Olongapo City for violation of Section 5 (Lascivious Conduct) of RA 7610 (Special Protection Against Child Abuse and Exploitation Act) with recommended bail of P200,000 and rape with no bail recommended.
In Subic town, Jerico Pena of Barangay San Isidro was arrested by elements of Subic Municipal Police Station led by OIC-chief Major Noel Sitjar complemented by elements of the CIDG field unit, regional highway patrol unit, maritime police station, Olongapo City and San Jose Del Monte municipal police stations.
The warrant of arrest for Pena was also issued by Judge Hilario-Logronio Jan. 7, 2021 for two counts of rape with no bail recommended.
Both suspects are in the list of Most Wanted Persons at the Provincial Level.
